The Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation Continues Celebrated Songwriter Series

The Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation (the “Foundation”) is excited to announce the eleventh installment of its Songwriters in the Round event at the legendary Joe’s on Weed Street on May 21st, 2020. Attendees will enjoy a performance by longtime supporters of the Foundation and Grammy award-winning songwriters Kelley Lovelace, Chris DeStefano, and Ashley Gorley. As with past songwriter events held onstage at the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and at Joe’s Bar, the event will offer attendees a behind-the-scenes look at Nashville’s vibrant music community through world- class performances and storytelling. Proceeds will benefit local charitable organizations that align with the Foundation’s directives of improving the quality of education, empowering under- resourced communities, and supporting cancer research.

This year’s beneficiaries include By The Hand Club for Kids, Communities in Schools, Boys Hope Girls Hope, CreatiVets, and Oz Arts.

“Coming back to Joe’s for the 11th installment of the Songwriters benefit could not be more fitting. The place is a legendary, ACM award-winning venue and has launched a thousand careers. Ed Warm, the owner of Joe’s as well as Carol’s pub, Windy City Smokeout, and Bub City, has been such a great partner in our journey and we look forward to yet another amazing benefit, in the best place to hear live music in an intimate setting in Chicago,” reflected Daniel Bryant, President of the Foundation.

Supporters of the Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation have the opportunity to attend the event by purchasing either General Admission or VIP tickets. Those interested in premium seating can purchase a table for the event at an additional price. VIP attendees enjoy an early meet and greet with the songwriters, as well as complimentary photos. The VIP meet and greet begins at 5:30, with doors opening for General Admission at 6:15 PM. The intimate sit-down dinner begins at 6:30 PM. SEATING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED AND THIS BENEFIT WILL SELL OUT.
