Clothing Drive for Midwest Veterans Closet
As 2016 unfolds at a breakneck pace, The Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation wondered if we could pause for a minute, and see if there are any clothes that are no longer part of our collective future closet plans?
Join us in collecting old, slightly worn, or new clothes, and providing them to the Midwest Veterans Closet, where it’s Veterans Day everyday. The Midwest Veterans Closet is a not-for-profit charity that is taking the lead in impacting veterans lives by providing FREE clothing, household items, furniture, food pantry, housing as available, employment assistance, Drop-In Center, and dignity to once proud soldiers.
Our clothes will help veterans in need, as well as those looking to re-enter the workforce after serving our country, so business casual and professional clothes are quite welcome.
We will be delivering all of our used clothes to the center on February 19. Feel free to drop off anything you have to our three convenient locations in the Chicago Loop, Northbrook, or Libertyville. Please reach out to your friends, clients and partners to join our clothing drive as well!
So let’s clean up those closets, and show our heart, as well as our support for our veterans!
